Removable blankets
Removable insulation blankets cover the valves, flanges, pumps and equipment that maintenance has to open. Desert Sky Energy Solutions, an industrial insulation contractor, fabricates them to measurements taken on site.
Each blanket is 8 lb ceramic fiber, 1" or 2" thick, sewn into 17 oz silicone cloth and closed with velcro straps and D-rings, so a mechanic can take it off and put it back without tools.
We build them for valve bodies and bonnets, flanges, analyzer boxes and tubing, and anything else that needs to stay accessible.
